"I actually was thinking about it and just how much my mindset has changed since starting with you a year ago. I don’t feel powerless with food anymore and I also know what I need to do to feel my best. It’s been a powerful and empowering experience".

After an exceptionally crappy first quarter of 2020, I was depressed, recovering from surgery and not looking after any part of my own health. Matt encouraged me to try nutrition coaching with Carlee @themovementmechanics ... She’s basically changed everything for me! A year later and I can’t believe how far reaching the effects of having her support and guidance are. Weekly check-ins with feedback on pretty much every aspect of my life changed everything. I was worried I would get hung up on weight loss and counting calories and it would turn into another diet cycle - but it did the opposite. It simplified everything because Carlee is about all aspects of your health - stress, sleep, hormones, exercise, and nutrition. It felt empowering to be mindfully making choices that made me feel better on the daily. She made me rethink weight goals as measurements of success and got me to focus instead on a better why. Carlee helped make nutrition so much clearer and it’s amazing how good you can feel when your caring for yourself. TCSC is the other piece that’s really helped but without Carlee the progress would not be close to what it has been. My energy is higher, cardio better, and weights heavier (thanks to Coach Sean pushing me a little there). My biggest take away is that looking after your full health can make you feel so much stronger, healthier and happier! I’m also clearly very photogenic!⠀⠀
