Mobility training is strength training with specific joint strength and range of motion as the goal. Having good mobility can create an optimal joint that is free of restricted movements and painful injuries. In order to train your mobility you have to improve your active range of motion for a joint. There are specific mobility exercises that are most effective and Kamloops Kinesiologist Alexa Cochran can help prescribe the best ones for you.

A routine of foam rolling and static stretches won’t help you improve your mobility and ensure life long pain-free movement. Neither of these have an active component to it that is required for mobility. That is why there is a system called Functional Range Conditioning by Dr. Andreo Spina that uses a variety of exercises to gain joint strength, mobility development and body control. Our Kamloops Kinesiologist Alex Cochran is a certified Functional Range Conditioning specialist. This will set you up to continue to do the activities that you love without the risk of injury from lack of mobility or can even be used as a performance enhancer.

If mobility training sounds like something that you want to incorporate into your life, book with Kamloops Kinesiologist Alexa Cochran.
